• Zain Retherford - Coming to Darkhorse - REGISTRATION OPEN for Unlimited Members - This Darkhorse Wrestling Technique and Training Camp will take place on Saturday, October 13th. We are proud to announce that 2x Hodge Trophy winner, 3x NCAA National Champion, 4x All-American and 3x Big10 Champion, Zain Retherford will be the camp clinician.  This camp will take place from 9am-4pm.  Don't be late, this camp will sell out!

Darkhorse Mission Statement

Darkhorse Wrestling is a qualified affiliated organization of the AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) which is dedicated to developing young people through wrestling in and around the Charlotte, NC area.  Additionally, we are driven to establish Charlotte as the premiere wrestling location across the Carolinas and the southern United States at large.

By introducing young wrestlers to the sport and by providing more experienced wrestlers with top-flight coaching, Darkhorse Wrestling has a focused drive toward promoting the sport of wrestling and enhancing Charlotte's position on the state and national levels.  In doing so, we hope to help develop a sense of dedication, hard work, responsibility and accountability in the young people who choose to join us at Darkhorse.
